Rello and Rhapsody joined forces to bring transparency to all parties involved in the home buying process through innovative UI design.


Moving house is one of life’s most stressful experiences. Rello is on a mission to change this - and needed our help to bring their vision to life. Not only did they need to explain the roles of buyers, sellers, estate agents, and solicitors, but also show how these players interact throughout the home buying process.


Our creative problem solvers created a unique UI design that depicts the entire home buying journey, from putting your home on the market to exchanging contracts and picking up the keys of your new place. Mobile-friendly and taking design cues from Gantt charts, the chain is easy to follow and accessible through the Rello app.








The finished product is an innovative, interactive tool that will put anyone thinking of moving house at ease. The property conveyance process is simplified, trackable, and accessible via desktop and through the mobile app. A a dedicated landing page with engaging branding brings the Rello proposition to life and provides the perfect platform to launch this exciting new product.

Creating a Chain Reaction

Whether you’re a mover packing boxes or an estate agent showing prospective buyers around their dream home, you deserve a clear view of the full property chain. Our team kept each audience in mind, creating initial designs and working prototypes that served the needs and requirements of everyone involved: estate agents, mortgage brokers, conveyancers, home buyers, and sellers. Forging close bonds with the Rello development team, we walked them through an in-depth demonstration of each prototype, explaining how the software should be structured, and ensuring we could capture accurate test results. We also supported with the creation of a WordPress website to host this exciting new tool.

Visualising the Property Process

Traditionally, conveyancing has been cloaked in mystery, with buyers and sellers left in limbo, constantly chasing different parties to find out where they stand. Rello’s new interactive chain shrugs off this reputation and replaces it with full transparency.

Our UI design superstars came up with a tile component that could simply convey the status and timeline of each property. The component is equally easy to understand on mobile and desktop, and we introduced colour coding to make the visuals even more engaging. Users can now instantly understand where they are in their home buying journey and whether any action needs to be taken.
