Rhapsody has been working with leading illustrated
book publisher Thames & Hudson for more than a decade.
As a publisher of exceptional quality titles on art,
architecture, history, fashion, film and more, to work with
Thames & Hudson is to be considered an expert in your field.
Therefore, Rhapsody’s long-standing relationship with this
client speaks volumes. Where many printers have diluted
traditional print skills as they have embraced newer technologies,
Rhapsody have retained these time-honoured abilities which
have been relied upon by Thames & Hudson to produce large
volumes of pre-media work seamlessly.

Colour management in particular is a concern for Thames &
Hudson, who want to ensure that when an artwork appears in
its titles, it is a true representation of the original. As such,
Rhapsody are responsible for working on files from T&H’s
design team and undertaking high-end creative retouching and
image correction, as well as scanning original prints and shooting
large artworks in our Shoreditch photography studio in order
to create a true facsimile. Our in-house experts are aware of how
different paper types affect the look and feel of an image after
it’s printed and what they need to do to ensure it’s an exact
replica of the original.

As well as scanning original prints,
we shoot large artworks in our
Shoreditch photography studio.

We supply ICC-certified and Fogra standard proofs to T&H who
give their approval before the files go to print. Thames & Hudson
work with an array of global printers who have commented that
they get an impeccable result with files from Rhapsody, as they
are so closely matched to the proofs we supply.

Working with Rhapsody's account managers to ensure the
workflow is faultless and projects are delivered on deadline,
Thames & Hudson continue to be impressed with Rhapsody's
output and choose us time and again as a preferred supplier.
